IF YOU WENT to DCU, chances are you have fond memories of the the on-campus bar, The Old Bar. (Not to be confused with NuBar, of course.)
This summer, The Old Bar is closing for good and DCU SU have just announced details of an almighty session to see it off.
On May 21st, The Old Bar will be open for former DCU students to enjoy a pint and bid farewell to the site of much divilment and mischief over the years…
Saturday 21 May, 2016 will be the last night to inhale the bar’s musty smell, to treat the pool tables like a stage, to rediscover the secret toilets and to shift yer man who lived across the hall from you in Larkfield.
Take the weekend off, grab a bag o’cans and treat it like it’s 2006… just don’t try hop the fence into Hampstead or go looking for an afterparty in Shanowen, you might actually get arrested this time.
Truly the end of an era </3
